“Cheerfulness is the very flower of health”. A programme was organized for the cancer affected children and their parents at Mylapore Resource centre on April 30, 2011.
The programme completely focuses on entertaining the children, giving a break from their routine activities and also teaching them some vocational skills. The participants were taught yoga (meditation and concentration exercise). The mothers of these children were taught to make bangles and paper jewellery box, which they enjoyed so much. The children made their own colourful face masks. Few entertaining games were conducted in between for fun and lunch was served to all the participants.
